HOME: A Holistic Movement Exploration
What does it mean to be alive, to feel home within your own body? It is to trust that our experience, at any given moment, is right.
For years I have been looking for the right/next/better solution to achieve more, to be fitter, leaner, stronger, more successful. Only to end up feeling more depressed, suffering and disconnecting myself from my body, emotions, human connections and life.
Needless to say, it was quite a mess, and a constant struggle.
Chronic fatigue, physical and emotional pain, stress, anxiety and depression are all symptoms linked to the same source.
There is nothing to fix… wait, what?
Realising this was one of the most magical experiences I have had during my years studying movement, therapy, yoga and somatic practices. Once you stop looking for the solutions outside of yourself, and for a quick fix, a quick hit off the pleasure pipe, you realize everything is there. As we start to embrace that and to listen, we can navigate through life with more ease and get the support or guidance that we really need.
You already know all the answers… So, why come to this workshop?
I will facilitate a space for you to experience all aspects of yourself. Through a holistic somatic movement practice, you will be supported on your journey to connect the dots and get exactly what you need in the given moment. The key lies in simplicity and consistency. This is my invitation to get a taste into the beautiful world of a holistic somatic movement practice.
Here is what past students say about the experience:
"Martin's talents in the areas of meditation and somatic exploration know no limits. He is a pleasure to work with and has helped me to reach elevated states of consciousness that I have previously struggled to attain alone."
"I attended the ‘Embodied Change Workshop’ with Martin. I found Martin to be an excellent teacher, he is kind, passionate and very knowledgeable, most importantly his explanation about the yoga postures was clear and precise. During the workshop I felt ‘safe’ as Martin has a gentle, yet firm professional approach, his guidance is inclusive, this is a fundamental skill to have especially during the meditation practice. Martin is authentic and genuine, he is what I would call an ‘old wise soul’. I would definitely attend another workshop/training event hosted by Martin and would also recommend him to others."
"You really have the knack of creating a safe space. Your language leaves no doubt as to what’s ok and what’s not. It gives the group members a clear framework to participate within. I am really appreciative of the space you create for each class."
